授業の改善と工夫

改善と工夫内容
Each year I refine my lessons based on the feedback given to me by the students and my own observations. I often adapt new innovations, such as the use of MOODLE, Google Classroom, iPads, social networking sites (www.goodreads.com) for posting about reading experiences and building an English reading community, and online vocabulary applications (www.quizlet.com). I will continue to adapt new technologies and methodologies as I continue to develop as a teacher. For the past few years, I have also been making the most of online resources, such as the TED Talks, Karma Tube, Short Films, ELLLO and Breaking News English. In DELT, the majority of classes are content-based, so we will continue to update the content to match the interests and issues of the current students.
Recently, thanks to the person-centered approach, I am learning more and more about my students and how I can best serve them as a teacher. I plan to continue to explore ways in which the individual needs and expectations of students can be met while still allowing me to be congruent as a teacher and a person with my own needs and expectations. In particular, students have shown great enthusiasm for project work that can be used beyond the classroom, such as videos uploaded to youtube in which they explain about Japanese culture and events.
